A Birth, A Rebirth: Welcoming Our Third Baby and Embracing the Many Layers of Motherhood

Three days before Mother's Day—May 8th, 2025, at 7:08 p.m.—we welcomed our third baby into this wild, beautiful world. It’s been seven years since our last daughter was born, and now, somehow, we have three little beings guiding us through this life. Precious, chaotic, sometimes obnoxious, always teaching.

The oxytocin is still running through me—not just from giving birth, but from being reborn myself. There’s something about motherhood that cracks you open in the best way.

To me, motherhood is more than biology. It’s the journey of being a woman. Whether you're an aspiring mom, a single mom, a new one, a mother figure, or a woman who simply holds space for life—you're a mother. We carry the world through our bodies, our cycles, our chaos. We are the timeline for life. That’s how I see it. When I look at any woman, I see that quiet, powerful mother energy—regardless of whether she’s birthed a child or not.

Charles and I always knew we wanted kids. But we never planned the details. We let love, emotion, and timing lead. Every birth has been a completely different journey—and a new rebirth for both of us. We spaced our babies out intentionally. I needed that time between each one—to let my hormones reset, to come back to myself. I admire the women who can have babies back to back, truly. The super moms. That’s just not my path. I know my limits. I know what my body needs. And that’s okay. There’s beauty in honoring your own rhythm.

I grew up watching my mom raise four of us, newly arrived in America, hustling to survive. I saw her lose parts of herself—her health, her joy—just trying to keep us fed. That stayed with me. I didn’t want to repeat that cycle. I wanted to choose differently. To fill my own cup first, even if that means sometimes putting myself before my children. Because when I’m whole, they get the best of me—not the scraps.

So This is Where My Version of Motherhood Begins

With every pregnancy, Charles made sure I had everything I needed nutritionally. That’s the gift of building a life with someone who lives and breathes optimal health. Because of this beautiful company he founded—and we grew together—I’ve been able to nourish not just my babies, but myself. Creating a life, a family, a business… it all comes from the same place. Knowing that we can build something whole, something deeply rooted, something healthy. And that’s exactly what we’re doing.

I wanted to share a little bit of this journey because I want women to know—no matter what kind of mother you are, or what kind of woman you are—you’re a mother figure in this world. We've been given this powerful anatomy, this deep-rooted ability to carry life, whether we physically choose to or not. That’s no small thing. With that beauty comes responsibility—to protect and honor ourselves. And that starts with our health.

Throughout every phase of my motherhood journey, I’ve put my health first—because I knew I was growing and nurturing another human. This third pregnancy? It was by far the best one yet. And while my first two were also smooth, easy home births in the tub with just Charles and our midwife—no drugs, no interventions—this one felt different. This one felt deeper. More intentional. Because I brought everything I learned before into this space, and I chose to show up for myself every single day.

I prioritized my happiness. My energy. My strength. I want to share a bit of what that looked like, especially for those of you walking the path or preparing to step into it.

My Daily Routine During Pregnancy

Morning:

  • 32 oz lemon water with Crucial Four’s mTrace and mHydrate

  • Smoothie: Raw goat’s milk, frozen berries, mProtein, and mColostrum

  • 1 hour of boxing for cardio

  • Post-workout: mProtein smoothie and another 32 oz of water with a big pinch of mSalt

  • Strength training (Tues/Thurs): 1 hour to maintain muscle and support my body through pregnancy

Afternoon:

  • Start of team meetings with 32 oz of mDaily Greens—I swear by this product. It carried me through pregnancy when I didn’t have an appetite. It kept me energized and nourished when food didn’t sound good. If you’re expecting or planning to be, this is a must.

  • Lunch: 7–9 oz of clean, organic meat with a light salad and vinegar. Sweet potatoes or rice for carbs.

  • I also kept my vitamin C intake up with 4-6 capsules of Camu Camu and Fresh fruits

  • Charles made sure I had about 1000mg of Choline as well

Dinner :

  • A protein rich dinner

  • Followed by a colostrum milkshake at night on some nights.

It wasn’t complicated. It was just consistent. And it made all the difference.

So to the women out there on this journey—know that your body deserves care. Your energy matters. Motherhood is sacred, but so are you. Don’t lose yourself in the giving. You’re allowed to be whole while raising life. Continuing building your foundation and enjoying life, doing things that make you stronger and happier to carry out a beautiful birth. I feel so lucky to have these births be so beautifully easy and sacred with no problems just the anticipation of our babies.
