Why this product
A2 goat whey is structurally different from standard whey — and easier on the gut for most people.
Standard whey protein is A1 bovine — the protein type dominant in conventional dairy. A1 beta-casein breaks down during digestion to release BCM-7, a peptide linked to gut inflammation and digestive discomfort in sensitive individuals. A2 proteins — naturally present in goat milk — do not produce BCM-7. Goat milk is also lower in lactose and has smaller fat globules that digest more easily. The result: equivalent protein quality and amino acid profile, with significantly better tolerability for people who struggle with conventional whey.
"I spent years dealing with gut issues from standard whey. Switching to goat whey was the fix. Adding collagen to every serving was intentional — muscle protein alone is only half the equation. Connective tissue health is what determines how long you can train."

Vanilla flavour: organic Tahitian vanilla + coconut nectar + monkfruit
Organic Tahitian vanilla bean powder — not vanillin extract. Lightly sweetened with coconut nectar and monkfruit. Clean, aromatic, and smooth.
Unflavoured: goat whey and bovine collagen only

HOW TO USE
Easy to incorporate. Impossible to skip.
1
In a shaker with water or milk
Mix 4 tablespoons (29g) with 6–8 oz of water, milk, or nut milk. Shakes cleanly with no clumping.
2
In smoothies
Pairs well with fruit, greens, nut butters, and mColostrum or mTrace for a complete morning protocol. The unflavoured version is fully neutral in any blend.
3
In cooking and baking
Unflavoured and vanilla work in pancakes, overnight oats, and baked goods. Heat-stable with no effect on texture at normal cooking temperatures.
Suggested daily amount
1 scoop (4 tbsp / 29g) daily as a minimum. 2–3 scoops for active training, recovery goals, or higher protein requirements.
What it does
Three things most people notice first
Better tolerated than standard whey
A2 goat whey does not produce BCM-7 during digestion. People who experience bloating, gas, or discomfort with standard whey consistently report that goat whey is better tolerated. Lower lactose content also reduces the lactose intolerance issue common with standard protein powders.
22–25g complete protein with all 9 essential amino acids
A complete essential amino acid profile including sufficient leucine — the primary trigger for muscle protein synthesis. Unflavoured and Cacao deliver 25g per serving; Vanilla delivers 22g. All three supply the full essential amino acid spectrum.
Collagen covers the connective tissue gap
Muscle-focused proteins are leucine-rich and great for muscle synthesis. What they don't provide is glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline — the amino acids that build and repair tendons, cartilage, gut lining, and skin. The bovine collagen component fills that gap in every serving.
What sets mProtein | Grass Fed A2 Goat Whey Protein with Collagen Peptides apart
mProtein vs. standard whey protein
Standard whey protein delivers muscle protein. mProtein delivers muscle protein plus connective tissue amino acids, from a source that most people tolerate better, from regenerative farms with verified sourcing — with no artificial additives in any flavour.

Common questions
About mProtein | Grass Fed A2 Goat Whey Protein with Collagen Peptides
What's actually different about A2 goat whey vs. regular whey?
+

A1 bovine whey produces BCM-7 during digestion — a peptide associated with gut inflammation and digestive discomfort. A2 goat whey does not. Goat milk is also naturally lower in lactose and has smaller fat globules that are easier to digest. Nutritionally, the amino acid profile is equivalent.

Can people with lactose intolerance use mProtein?
+

Most can. Goat whey is very low in lactose and most people with lactose sensitivity tolerate it well. Those with a confirmed dairy protein allergy (IgE-mediated) should check with their doctor, as goat and bovine proteins share some allergen similarity.

Why is collagen included in a protein powder?
+

Muscle protein synthesis requires leucine-rich protein (whey). Connective tissue repair requires glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline (collagen). These are different amino acid profiles targeting different tissues. Combining them means one product covers both — something single-source protein powders don't.

How does mProtein compare to plant-based protein?
+

Animal proteins deliver a complete essential amino acid profile with higher leucine content — the primary driver of muscle protein synthesis. Plant proteins are often incomplete individually and have lower bioavailability. For recovery and muscle goals, mProtein is the higher-performance option.

Is the vanilla made with real vanilla?
+

Yes — organic Tahitian vanilla bean powder, not vanillin or artificial vanilla extract. Sweetened with coconut nectar and monkfruit only.

Is the cacao made with real cocoa?
+

Yes — organic heirloom-variety cacao, not standard commodity cocoa powder. No Dutch-process alkalisation, which means the flavanol antioxidant content is preserved. Sweetened with coconut nectar only.

Can I use it as a meal replacement?
+

With added fats and carbohydrates (fruit, nut butter, oats) it functions well as a meal. As a standalone shake, it's a protein source — not a complete meal. Pair with whole food fat and carbohydrate sources.

Is it suitable during pregnancy?
+

Whole food protein is important during pregnancy. As a concentrated supplement, discuss it with your OB or midwife before adding to your routine while pregnant or nursing.

Does it mix well in a shaker?
+

Yes — dissolves fully in 6–8 oz of liquid with a standard shaker. No clumping. The unflavoured mixes completely invisibly into smoothies without changing texture or taste.

Why does the vanilla flavour have 22g protein instead of 25g?
+

The additional ingredients in the vanilla version — coconut nectar, monkfruit, and vanilla powder — displace some of the protein per gram of total serving weight. All three flavours use the same goat whey and collagen base.
