Why this product
Colostrum is the most nutrient-dense whole food produced by mammals. The research backs it.
mColostrum contains 97 documented immune factors, 87 growth factors, and measurable quantities of immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA, IgM), lactoferrin, and proline-rich polypeptides (PRPs). These compounds support immune modulation, gut lining repair, and tissue recovery — with applications documented in both athletic and clinical populations. The critical variable: low-heat processing. High-heat drying destroys these bioactive compounds. Most commercial colostrum products use spray-drying temperatures that denature the immunoglobulins before the product reaches you.
"Colostrum is one of the first things I recommend for clients dealing with gut issues or a compromised immune system. The processing matters enormously — there's a significant quality gap between brands. Most people are buying a product where the key compounds have been destroyed before it reaches them."

What's inside
Key bioactive compounds per serving
Immunoglobulins — 1,500ng per gram of powder
IgG, IgA, and IgM — the primary antibodies that identify and neutralise pathogens. Concentration is verified per gram of powder by third-party batch testing. Immunoglobulin concentration is the single most important quality marker to look for in any colostrum product.
Proline-rich polypeptides (PRPs) — 106.67mg per serving
Immune-modulating peptides that regulate immune response up or down depending on what's needed. Important for both under-active and over-active immune conditions.
Lactoferrin — 1.23mg per serving
Iron-binding glycoprotein with documented antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activity. One of the most studied bioactive proteins in colostrum.
97 immune factors + 87 growth factors
Including EGF, IGF-1, TGF-B2, Thymosin alpha 1 and beta 4 — compounds that support cellular repair, tissue regeneration, and immune regulation. Preserved through low-heat drying.
Essential vitamins and minerals
A, C, E, K1, K2, B-complex, calcium, zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus — all naturally present in the colostrum matrix, not added.

HOW TO USE
Easy to incorporate. Impossible to skip.
1
First thing in the morning on an empty stomach
Gut absorption of immunoglobulins and growth factors is highest before food changes the gut environment. 15–20 minutes before eating is ideal.
2
In a smoothie or beverage
Mixes into any drink with a mild, slightly sweet taste. Pairs well with mProtein for a complete morning recovery protocol.
3
Post-exercise
Growth factors are most active during tissue repair phases. Post-workout use supports both muscle and gut recovery after intense training.
Suggested daily amount
1–3 tsp (2–6g) daily, 7 days per week. Start at 1 tsp and increase based on tolerance and goals.
What it does
Three things most people notice first
Immune system fortification
Immunoglobulins in colostrum neutralise pathogens in the gut before they enter the bloodstream — the first line of immune defence. IgA specifically lines the gut and respiratory mucosa, providing localised protection.
Gut lining repair
Growth factors EGF (epidermal growth factor) and IGF-1 in colostrum directly stimulate the repair and regeneration of gut epithelial cells. This is the most documented application of colostrum in functional medicine and one of the strongest arguments for daily use.
Faster recovery and tissue repair
The growth factor complex in colostrum supports muscle tissue repair, reduces recovery time between training sessions, and promotes general cellular regeneration. Multiple studies in athletic populations confirm these effects.
What sets mColostrum | Grass-Fed Cow Colostrum apart
mColostrum vs. standard colostrum supplements
The quality gap in colostrum products comes down to processing temperature. High-heat spray-drying — used by most brands — denatures immunoglobulins and growth factors. Low-heat drying is slower and more expensive. It is also the only way to deliver an active product.

WHERE MCOLOSTRUM COMES FROM
US grass-fed cows. Low-heat dried. Calves get priority.
mColostrum is collected only from surplus production — calves receive their full requirement before any collection occurs. Sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows in the USA. Low-heat drying preserves immunoglobulins and growth factors. Conventional spray-drying at high temperatures destroys the compounds that make colostrum therapeutically valuable.

"Everything I formulate starts with one question: would I give this to my family? If the answer isn't an immediate yes, we go back to the source."

    Clumps

I have tried to like this colostrum, because I love crucial four, but having a hard time understanding that I can’t be the only one having trouble mixing it in beverages of choice. Yes, I tried in coffee with a frother, room temperature water and juice. Nothing has worked so far. I’ve been taking another brand, that I love, because I can put straight into my mouth without mixing it in anything. This product never said you can take directly. I wanted to give them a chance, since I have other products from them, but it’s not working for me.

Common questions
About mColostrum | Grass-Fed Cow Colostrum
What exactly is bovine colostrum and how is it related to human colostrum?
+

Bovine colostrum is the first milk produced by cows in the 24–72 hours after calving. It is compositionally nearly identical to human colostrum — same immunoglobulin types, growth factors, and PRPs — and has been used therapeutically across multiple cultures for centuries.

Why does processing temperature matter so much?
+

Immunoglobulins (the primary active compounds) denature — lose their biological activity — at sustained temperatures above 56°C. Most commercial spray-drying exceeds this. Low-heat drying is the only way to deliver a biologically active product.

Do the calves get their share?
+

Yes, always. mColostrum is collected only from surplus production after calves have received their full requirement. Ethical sourcing is a non-negotiable part of our criteria.

Can I take it if I'm lactose intolerant?
+

Bovine colostrum is very low in lactose — significantly lower than regular milk. Most people with lactose sensitivity tolerate it well. Those with a true dairy allergy should check with their doctor.

Will it help with leaky gut?
+

Growth factors EGF and IGF-1 in colostrum directly stimulate repair of gut epithelial cells. This is one of the most well-documented applications of colostrum in functional medicine practice and research.

Can athletes benefit from it?
+

Yes. Studies in athletic populations show reduced exercise-induced gut permeability, improved recovery markers, and reduced upper respiratory illness rates with consistent colostrum supplementation.

What does it taste like?
+

Mild and slightly sweet — similar to whole milk powder. Mixes easily into any beverage without a strong flavour.

Is it appropriate for children?
+

Colostrum is a whole food and generally well tolerated. Dosing should be scaled to body weight. Consult your paediatrician for children under 2.

How long before I notice results?
+

Gut-related changes are often noticed within 2–4 weeks. Immune resilience benefits develop over a full season of daily use — typically 8–12 weeks before the pattern becomes clear.

Can I stack it with other Crucial Four products?
+

Yes. Colostrum pairs well with mProtein (gut + muscle recovery), mCollagen (connective tissue repair), and mTrace (micronutrient support). No known interactions.
