Why this product
Micronized Ecuadorian heirloom cacao powder, easy to absorb and perfect for a daily ritual.
Standard cocoa powder is alkalized and heat-processed, which strips away much of what makes cacao special. mCacao is micronized from whole heirloom Ecuadorian beans, keeping more of the bean's natural goodness while making it easy to absorb and blend. FLAG: processing method and certification details still need confirming.
Supports steady, even energy throughout the day, without the jitters that come with a caffeine spike.

    The best cocoa

This mix is so rich and good, I will really like it this winter. I am going to try making a cold fancy drink with some. It’s expensive but it is worth it if is not every day thing.

I’m a hot chocolate snob and this is really the best. I’ve bought so many for me, family and friends.

Common questions
About Hot Cocoa | Limited edition
Is Hot Cacao safe for kids?
+

Absolutely. Hot Cacao is made with just four clean, whole-food ingredients—no artificial sweeteners, fillers, or additives. The natural theobromine in cacao provides gentle, stable energy without the jitters or crashes of caffeine, making it a great choice for the whole family. Just adjust the amount to your child's taste preference.

How is this different from regular hot chocolate mix?
+

Most store-bought hot chocolate is loaded with refined sugar, artificial flavors, dairy powders, and hydrogenated oils. Hot Cacao contains only wild-harvested Ecuador cacao, monk fruit, coconut sugar, and sea salt—nothing artificial, nothing processed. You get all the rich chocolate flavor plus the natural benefits of real cacao: antioxidants, magnesium, and mood-supporting compounds.

Can I use plant-based milk?
+

Yes! Hot Cacao works beautifully with any milk—dairy, almond, oat, coconut, or cashew. Simply stir 1 tsp into 6–8 oz of your favorite warmed milk and enjoy. Each type of milk will give you a slightly different flavor profile, so feel free to experiment.

How much caffeine does Hot Cacao contain?
+

Hot Cacao contains minimal caffeine—wild cacao naturally has about 1/10th the caffeine of coffee. What it does contain is theobromine, a gentle compound that provides calm, sustained energy without the spike and crash. It's perfect for morning rituals or even evening wind-downs.

What's the difference between hot cocoa and hot chocolate?
+

Great question! Hot chocolate is typically made from melted chocolate bars (which contain cocoa butter and are higher in fat), while hot cocoa is made from cocoa powder. Hot Cacao falls into the cocoa category—it's made from wild cacao that's been processed into a fine powder, then naturally sweetened. This gives you all the benefits of real cacao without the heaviness of melted chocolate.

How is ceremonial-grade cacao different?
+

Ceremonial-grade means our cacao is minimally processed, made from heirloom beans, and never stripped with heat or chemicals. It’s cacao in its purest, most potent form—rich in nutrients and deeply respected for its traditional use.

Can I mix mCacao with coffee or tea?
+

Absolutely. Many customers love blending mCacao with their morning coffee for a balanced energy lift, or with herbal tea for a calming afternoon treat.

What are the health benefits of cacao?
+

Cacao supports mood, mental focus, circulation, and long-lasting energy. It’s rich in antioxidants, magnesium, and brain-boosting compounds like PEAs and anandamide. It also promotes cardiovascular health by improving blood flow and lowering oxidative stress.

How do I prepare mCacao?
+

Simply stir or blend 1.5 tablespoons of mCacao into warm water or milk of choice. Add banana, almond butter, or a pinch of mSalt for an easy smoothie or latte.

Is mCacao suitable for kids?
+

Yes, in small amounts. Theobromine is much gentler than caffeine, but we recommend starting with a smaller portion and monitoring how your child responds.
